TREATMENT AND DATA PROTECTION

By understanding that the use of your personal data requires your confidence, we follow the current regulations and the appropriate procedures in the treatment and data protection. As such, we will only use your personal data for the purposes we identify below, following the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data.

Responsibility for the processing of your personal data

As manager of the NanoStim project, IncreaseTime is responsible for processing the personal data of website visitors who submit a contact request, following the terms of the data protection legislation in force in the European Union (the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR). IncreaseTime does not share the personal data provided with any other entity, except with member(s) of the project consortium, if the site visitor requests contact with such member(s).

Personal data collection

Personal data will be collected and processed only if the website visitor completes the contact request form, or if they send an email directly to the IncreaseTime coordinator.

For what purpose will your personal data be used

Your personal data will be collected and used to contact you back in response to his initial contact, or for future contact if the visitor indicates that they allow it. According to the data protection legislation in force in the European Union (the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), the use of personal data must be justified under at least one legal basis for the processing of personal data. The legal basis applicable to the collection and use of your personal data for the purpose of responding to a visitor’s contact is your consent.

The personal data collected includes your name, email, and any other you choose to share in the text of the contact message

What security is applied to your personal data

IncreaseTime uses several security measures, including authentication tools, encryption and digital certificates to help protect and maintain the security, integrity and availability of your personal data. Although data transmission over the internet or website cannot guarantee complete security against intrusions, we and our service providers and business partners use their best efforts to implement and maintain physical, electronic and procedural security measures designed to protect their personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection requirements. Among others, we implemented the following:

  • Protection of information technology systems through firewalls, with a view to preventing unauthorized access to your personal data;
  • Permanent monitoring of access to information technology systems in order to prevent, detect and prevent the misuse of your personal data.

For how long will your personal data be kept

Your data will only be kept for as long as the purpose for which it was collected is valid, which is dependent on the subject of the contact made by the site visitor. Once the maximum retention period has been reached, your personal data will be irreversibly anonymised (anonymized data may be preserved) or destroyed in a secure manner.

Your personal data is stored on the protected servers of our suppliers / service providers, being accessed and used exclusively under our policies and standards (or equivalent policies and standards of our suppliers / service providers).

How to change your consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and this will be permanent. After full withdrawal of your consent statements, you will no longer be contacted and receive communications for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

To withdraw your consent, make a contact through the website, or directly contact the IncreaseTime project manager, where you declare that you wish to no longer be contacted and that your data must be destroyed or anonymized in a secure manner.

Your data protection rights

If you have any questions regarding our use of your personal data you should contact IncreaseTime through our contacts. Subject to certain conditions, you may have the right to request us to:

  • Provide you with additional information on how we use your personal information;
  • Be provided with a copy of the personal data provided;
  • You are provided with the personal data you have provided to another controller at your request;
  • Any inaccuracy in the personal data we retain;
  • Deleted personal data whose use is no longer legitimate;
  • We limit the way we use your personal data until the complaint is investigated.

The exercise of these rights is subject to certain exceptions intended to safeguard the public interest (prevention or detection of crimes) or our interest (maintaining professional secrecy).

If you exercise any of these rights, we will analyze them and we will respond, tentatively within one 1 month.

If you are unsatisfied with our use of your personal data or with our response after exercising any of these rights, in accordance with the legislation in force, you are entitled to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados – CNPD).
